Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: 12 May 2025  ·  Effective Date: 12 May 2025

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Samong Code website and your participation in any of our courses. Please read them carefully. By using this site or enrolling in a course, you agree to these terms.

1. Definitions

  • "Samong Code", "we", "us", "our" — refers to the education provider operating under the name Samong Code, located at 132 Sukhumvit 21, Watthana, Bangkok 10110, Thailand.
  • "Website" — the site at samongco.pro and any pages or subdomains associated with it.
  • "User", "you", "your" — any person who accesses the website or enrols in a course.
  • "Course" — any learning programme offered by Samong Code, including Data Foundations for AI, Computer Vision Essentials, and AI Engineering Mentorship.
  • "Content" — all written material, video, code examples, exercises, and other educational resources provided as part of a course or on the website.
  • "Agreement" — these Terms and Conditions in their current version.

2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing this website or submitting an enrolment enquiry, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use this site or enrol in a course.

You must be at least 18 years of age to enrol in a course or enter into this Agreement. By proceeding, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to form a binding agreement.

3. Service description

Samong Code provides part-time online education in AI development through structured courses, guided exercises, and one-to-one or group mentoring sessions. Our current offerings are:

  • Data Foundations for AI — approximately seven weeks part-time (฿4,400)
  • Computer Vision Essentials — approximately nine weeks part-time (฿11,000)
  • AI Engineering Mentorship — approximately four months part-time (฿17,500)

Course schedules, content, and pricing are subject to change. Any changes affecting enrolled learners will be communicated with reasonable notice.

We deliver services primarily online. Access to course materials depends on an active enrolment and may require a stable internet connection and a personal computer.

4. Learner accounts

Upon confirming enrolment, you will receive access credentials for any online platform used in your course. You are responsible for keeping these credentials secure and for all activity that takes place through your account.

You may not share your account with others or allow third parties to access course materials through your login. If you suspect unauthorised access, please notify us promptly.

We reserve the right to suspend or close an account if there is evidence of misuse, sharing, or a violation of these terms.

5. Your responsibilities

When using this website or participating in a course, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when contacting us or completing enrolment
  • Engage with course materials and mentors respectfully and in good faith
  • Not copy, distribute, or republish any course content without our written permission
  • Not attempt to disrupt the website, its infrastructure, or other users
  • Not submit false enquiries or misrepresent your identity
  • Comply with all applicable laws in your use of this service

Behaviour that disrupts other learners, mentors, or the learning environment may result in removal from a course without refund.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this website and within our courses — including written text, code examples, exercises, diagrams, and recorded sessions — is owned by or licensed to Samong Code and is protected by applicable intellectual property law.

You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to access and use course materials for your own learning. This licence does not permit you to reproduce, sell, or redistribute materials in any form.

Work you create independently during a course — your own code, projects, and portfolio pieces — remains your own. We make no claim over your original work.

7. Payment terms

All prices are quoted in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

Payment is due before or at the time of confirming enrolment. We will confirm accepted payment methods when we respond to your enquiry.

Refund policy: If you withdraw from a course before the first session, you are entitled to a full refund. After the first session, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and are generally not provided after 25% of the course has been delivered. Exceptional circumstances — such as medical emergencies — will be reviewed with care. Please contact us to discuss your situation.

We reserve the right to update course prices. Any price change will not affect confirmed enrolments.

8. Course enrolment terms

Each course has prerequisite knowledge or experience, as described on our website. Enrolling in a course confirms that you meet or are working toward those prerequisites. We will do our best to support learners who are close to the requirements, but we cannot adjust course content to accommodate significant gaps.

Durations stated for each course are estimates based on a part-time commitment. Individual progress may vary depending on your pace, experience, and availability.

Upon completing a course to the satisfaction of your mentor, you will receive a letter of completion from Samong Code. This letter acknowledges your participation and the work you have done; it does not constitute a nationally accredited qualification.

We take academic integrity seriously. Submitting work that is not your own — without attribution — undermines the purpose of the course and may result in removal without refund.

9. Disclaimers

This website and its courses are provided as they are. While we take care to ensure content is accurate and current, we make no warranty — express or implied — that the material is error-free, complete, or suitable for every individual purpose.

Learning outcomes depend on individual effort, background, and application. We do not make claims about employment, salary, or career outcomes as a result of completing a course.

We are not a regulated educational institution under Thai law, and our completion letters carry no formal accreditation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Samong Code will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of this website or participation in a course — including lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim arising from this Agreement will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific course to which the claim relates.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, personal injury caused by negligence, or any matter where limitation would be unlawful.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Samong Code and hold us harmless against any claims, losses, or expenses — including reasonable legal costs — arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of this website or course materials.

12. Termination

You may withdraw from a course at any time by writing to us. Our refund policy (Section 7) will apply.

We may terminate or suspend your access to course materials if you violate these terms, engage in disruptive behaviour, or fail to make payment when due. In such cases, we will give you reasonable written notice where possible.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability — will remain in effect after this Agreement ends.

13. Dispute resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute arising from these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bangkok, Thailand.

Before escalating any dispute formally, we ask that you contact us first at [email protected]. We will make a genuine effort to resolve any concern within 14 working days of receiving your message.

If an informal resolution is not reached, either party may seek appropriate legal remedy in a Thai court of competent jurisdiction.

14. General provisions

  • Entire agreement — this Agreement, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, forms the complete agreement between you and Samong Code regarding use of this website and enrolment in courses.
  • Severability — if any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
  • Waiver — our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future.
  • Assignment — you may not assign your rights under this Agreement without our written consent. We may transfer our obligations with reasonable notice.
  • Notices — formal notices should be sent to us by email at [email protected] or by post to our address below.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the revision. For significant changes, we will make a reasonable effort to notify enrolled learners by email.

Continued use of this website or course materials after an update means you accept the revised terms. If you disagree with a change, please stop using the site and contact us to discuss your situation.
