Cookie Policy
Last Updated: 12 May 2025 · Samong Code, Bangkok, Thailand
This page explains what cookies are, which ones this website uses, and how you can control them. We have written it in plain language so it is straightforward to understand — no legal background required.
1. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small file that a website places on your device when you visit. It holds a modest amount of data — often a reference code or a preference setting. The next time you return, the site can read that file and remember something about your previous visit.
Cookies are not programmes and cannot run code on your device. They are simply text files used by websites and the browsers that display them. Some cookies disappear when you close your browser (session cookies); others stay for a defined period (persistent cookies).
We use cookies to keep this site working correctly, to understand how people find and use it, and — with your permission — to remember your preferences between visits.
2. Cookies we use
Essential cookies
Always active
These cookies are required for the website to function. They cannot be switched off because the site would not work without them.
- Remembering your cookie preference so you are not asked again on every visit
- Security tokens that protect form submissions
- Session identifiers that keep your place as you move between pages
Duration: Session or up to 12 months depending on the specific cookie.
Analytics cookies
Optional
These help us understand how visitors arrive at this site and which pages are most useful, so we can improve the learning experience we offer.
- Which pages are visited and how long people spend on them
- General referral source (search engine, direct link, and so on)
- Device type and screen size for layout decisions
Provider: Google Analytics. Duration: Up to 26 months.
Marketing cookies
Optional
These cookies allow advertising networks to show you content relevant to your interests. If you decline them, you may still see adverts — they will simply be less tailored to you.
- Tracking visits across websites to build interest profiles
- Measuring the reach and effectiveness of campaigns
- Limiting how often you see a particular advert
Providers: Google Ads, Meta Pixel. Duration: Up to 24 months.
Preference cookies
Optional
These remember choices you make so the site can present itself in a way that suits you on your next visit.
- Language or region setting
- Display preferences you have selected
Duration: Up to 12 months.
3. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set not by us but by services we use to run and improve this site. These third parties operate under their own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review directly.
- Google Analytics — website usage statistics
- Google Ads — advertising measurement and targeting
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — campaign measurement
We do not sell data collected through these services to any other party.
4. Cookie duration
Cookies fall into two duration categories:
- Session cookies — exist only while your browser is open. They are deleted automatically when you close the tab or browser window.
- Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a set period, typically between one month and twenty-six months depending on purpose. The specific durations for each category are noted in Section 2 above.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
All modern browsers let you view, block, and delete cookies. Disabling cookies broadly may affect how some sites work. Below are the steps for the most common browsers.
- Open Chrome and click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings, then Privacy and security.
- Click Cookies and other site data.
- Choose your preferred option: allow all, block third-party, or block all.
- To delete existing cookies, scroll down and click See all site data and permissions, then Delete all.
- Open Firefox and click the menu icon (three lines) in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings, then Privacy & Security.
- Under Browser Privacy, choose Standard, Strict, or Custom.
- To delete cookies, scroll to Cookies and Site Data and click Clear Data.
- Open Safari and go to Safari > Preferences (Mac) or Settings > Safari (iPhone/iPad).
- Click or tap Privacy.
- Tick Block all cookies to prevent all cookies, or select a more specific option.
- To clear existing cookies, click Manage Website Data and then Remove All.
- Open Edge and click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings, then Cookies and site permissions.
- Click Manage and delete cookies and site data.
- Toggle cookie blocking or click See all cookies and site data to delete specific ones.
On mobile, browser settings are typically found under your device's Settings app, in the section for the relevant browser application.
6. Your rights and control
You have full control over optional cookies at any time. You can:
- Withdraw consent using the toggles in Section 2 above
- Delete cookies already on your device through your browser settings
- Request information about what data has been collected by contacting us directly
Declining optional cookies will not prevent you from accessing any part of this website. Essential cookies will remain active because the site requires them to function.
If you have questions about how we handle data more broadly, please read our Privacy Policy or write to us at [email protected].
